Dr. Nai-fu Chen Joins Anfield Capital Management
Anfield Capital Management (ACM) is pleased to announce that Dr. Nai-fu Chen has joined the firm. Nai-fu joins Anfield to advance its risk factor based investment approach known as Global Multi-Asset Strategies (GMAS) and has become a member of the ACM Investment Committee. In this capacity, Nai-fu will work closely with Mr. Peter van der Zilver, lead portfolio manager of GMAS.
Dr. Nai-fu Chen recently retired as Professor of Finance at the Merage School of Business at University of California, Irvine and the Department of Finance at the School of Business and Management at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
His key areas of research involve the following areas:
- – Stability of currency and financial systems
- – Macroeconomic impact on investing
- – Economic forces (GDP growth, inflation, interest rates, credit risks, etc.) and their affect on the stock market (w/R. roll and S. Ross, 1986)
- – Hedge funds: asset allocations and portfolio management
Nai-fu’s research has appeared in various prestigious publications, including the Journal of Business, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics and the International Review of Finance. Along with his many publications and academic accomplishments, he is one of the top 20 thinkers in the field of Finance, Asset and Market Behavior. Nai-fu is named in “Who’s Who in Economics.” He serves as an advisor to several central banks and monetary authorities.
